The ONE Software App

The One system software is built from scratch to support the latest Windows 10 & 11 software so that we can take the best advantage of the latest features available for software developers. This gives us a good foothold on keeping the software up to date as Windows continues to evolve.

Desktop app

The One app is built using the latest Microsoft development software to give the best possible integration with Windows 11 (Windows 10 also supported). It is recommended that you keep Windows up-to-date by allowing all updates to run when you are prompted.

Modern computers (2021 onwards) generally have larger screen resolutions, and Microsoft recommend developers to take advantage of the larger sizes if needed. If you have an older computer with a smaller resolution then the app will reformat itself to fit into the smaller space, but some details might be missing. Where possible we recommend a higher specification - a 4k display would be perfect. Future builds of the One software will continue to target higher resolution displays.

Light and dark mode support

Starting with Windows 10 there was a basic configuration available which would render the display in light mode or dark mode. When this was introduced in Windows 10 the default mode was "light", but Windows 11 introduced dark mode as the default (in keeping with industry trends). The One app is designed to offer the same choice, and the display can be easily altered from within the One app Settings page. As can be seen from the picture above, if the software is running on well specified Windows 11 computer then the display can also offer different degrees of transparency - a purely aesthetic feature of course but which is quite a popular option on modern software programs.

Cost and Licensing

The One software is free to all registered users. When somebody signs up to use the software the registration is created as a clinic, regardless of whether this involves one person or a group of several therapy practices with multiple practitioners. The person who creates the subscription is given the role of administrator, meaning that this account can then add or manage other user accounts. All accounts and client records that are created are done so within the grouping of the subscription created by the originating account, so that all client data is available to all practitioners within the subscription - but of course not accessible to other subscription groups.

The software provides the general user the ability to create new client records, to perform a connected session (i.e. with the client present and connected via the wrist straps), and to register top-up devices (such as the One Card), and to schedule transmissions to it from the ONE cloud servers.

The transmission of a program via the ONE system, whether to a local client or to a top-up device, is paid for via pre-paid credits. Credits are paid for at a subscriber level, so the subscription holder (or delegated member of staff) is responsible for purchasing a block of additional credits to keep the available balance sufficiently topped up for uninterrupted usage. Credits are purchased quite simply by clicking a link in the software, which then opens a page on our checkout website to make the payment. After payment has successfully completed the credits are applied to the subscriber account within moments.
